Retching then Food Fight
The tube weaning Whisperer (aka Dr Markus Wilken) is coming!!! He'll be here before Thanksgiving. We're thrilled to meet him and introduce him to lil LJ. And looking to the future when we may finally have an eater... We're practicing being around food a lot. Until the much anticipated visit, these videos of Oscar and LJ at Hungry Hippos will have to suffice.

ReplyDeleteAwesome job!!! Way to go listening to LJ. I loved how you decreased his exposure to food and removed him from the table when he was showing us he was uncomfortable. Whenever he retches I would subtly remove the food from the vicinity until he tells us he is ready again (by looking at or reaching for foods). You BOTH did a much better job in this video with decreasing your questions and comments directed at LJ around food. I also LOVED that you turned down your voice volume. It made for a much safer and calm environment.... one I think we would all like to share a snack with our friends in. A great session, especially considering that LJ was having some retching before it even began. Keep it up!!
