Whew, that’s better. The applesauce is back in favor though. We also tried a wee bit of milk from a preemie bottle. Lew is digging his pacifier a little more too (only when he’s asleep…but I’ll take anything). Whilst mom isn’t paying enough attention to kid #2, the entire contents of his toy chest get dumped out on the floor of his room. So there you have a brief glimpse into another day in paradise. Luckily, Didi was there to help wrangle Nate in.
Unfortunately there wasn’t much time and we had to get ready for a doctor’s appointment. Darn NG tube had to get put back in. (Nate reluctantly went to school with Didi)
We met with the ENT doc (I know, perfect timing). He told me that fortunately Lew’s little sinuses aren’t fully developed yet. This means I shouldn’t be afraid of doing any damage each time I have to put in a new feeding tube. He was also quite pleased with his voice box J (guess LJ cried a little cuz it feels weird to have a pointy, cold plastic thing inserted in your ears) All in all, he was and continues to be a very good-humored baby.

THIS is progress

Feed me!

I don’t get it, why does mom put me in this bumbo seat thing?

and just because I thought it was a sweet picture...
So good to hear how you all are this week. You're making progress and have that most helpful perspective that your good senses of humor give you. Loved seeing Judy feeding Lewis. Could just picture Nate emptying his toy chest in vying for attention. The cassoulet looks great. We keep you in our thoughts. Love, Carol and Paul
